Addressing Social and Economic Disparities
The social wealth gap stems from the lack of influence historically marginalized communities have in addressing systemic social, environmental, and economic challenges.
Our commitment to fostering equitable futures for underserved communities lies in creating conditions where program participants can build self-esteem, develop highly-technical skills, and ultimately participate in business ownership.

Through partnerships with high-performing institutions who share our objectives and values, Revolution Institute is able to maximize our organizational capacity while remaining nimble and responsive to trainee needs. Our partners have established programming that develops trainees' soft and technical skills. The program provides trainees with the tools for independence - all while creating a pipeline of skilled talent for dedicated Worker Cooperatives.
Trainees learn cooperative leadership development that improves their self-esteem and levels of engagement in the workplace, influences their ability to handle conflict both professionally and socially, and empowers them to relay their new skills to serve their communities through enhanced civic engagement. RI’s Cooperative Leadership Training benefits, not just those who participate in the program, but also their families and communities.

At Revolution Institute, we’re incubating and launching worker cooperatives in the advanced manufacturing sector. In these cooperatives, Worker-Owners not only earn competitive salaries, but also benefit from equity holding and patronage dividends. We empower Worker-Owners by providing extensive training in hands-on work and cooperative practices.
